On Friday the 13th I introduce Vicky

Of all my beloved cats over the years, sweet charming Vicky would have to be my all time favourite feline. During our seventeen delightful years together I obtained few photographs and this one is a bit scratchy, sorry.
Despite her colour, this little lady was never going to be named an ordinary Sooty or Blackie or the like! Instead Vicky was named after Queen Victoria, who also spent her life wearing black. My Vicky had the most glowing golden eyes and retained her svelte figure to the end. It is said that all black cats will still have a minute amount of white fur somewhere but I never found one white hair on her. However, as she gracefully aged she developed a single white whisker! As well as being a pretty little thing, Vicky had the sweetest temperament. If she had been a person, she would have been just like Michelle Pfieffer, a gorgeous lady with a charming disposition.

Jayjay Returns to her Favourite Watering Hole

Jayjay does have her own cute water bowl in the kitchen but she still prefers to drink elsewhere! When I am trying to heat up the house during the chill of winter, if she demands entrance to the bathroom, I quickly let her in, slightly turn on the tap, then shut the door to keep the warmth in the rest of the house. The only problem is that I am a bad mum and sometimes manage to get distracted, so do not return to let her out for a little while. Luckily Jayjay never seems overly upset about this, as if one is to be locked up for a time, it might as well be in a favourite room with all the facilities!

Back to Jerry Springer

Although he was just called Jerry, this kitty's full name was Jerry Springer.
This was the first cat I ever had with a special affinity for the toilet, so here he is in His room! He received his full name because his tail had a tight curl at the end like a spring. Also, when he first came home when about four months old, he did not so much run all over the place as spring about. Jerry was a cute and charming little guy, and somehow he even managed to win the heart of a friend of mine who absolutely detests cats! Jerry was reprieved from the RSPCA after Vicky's demise and lived with me for three fun filled years until he disappeared one February night and made way for Jayjay.

GONE

The spoils of a professional cat burglar
Making sure no crumbs left
Now to pretend someone else cat napped the raspberry candy chocolate
Besides if enough disinterest is shown there might be another chance to try for the lime or banana flavoured ones soon...
